We finally (for 2 nights only!) got
Into the Wild (Sean Penn) at our local cinema here in deepest darkest Cornwall, and I went to see it last night...
It is a fascinating tale of the true story of Christopher McCandless a young man in search of true freedom who runs away from his life leaving his worldly possessions behind and giving his life savings to charity to embark on an epic journey across the US to Alaska.
The film is very beautiful with cinematography by Eric Gautier who worked on another of my favorite films
The Motorcycle Diaries...
If you haven't seen the film yet I would certainly recommend it as it is so beautiful and a very interesting story...
