29 - Days two and three...
This week I will mostly be a wedding bore I'm afraid. It is in 4 days time after all...
Today, May 25th - E-Numbers:
Yep, for the sweet bar. We're hoping a massive sugar rush will keep everyone dancing 'til dawn!
Yesterday, May 24th - Seating for your eating:
The half painted seating plan. It's turning out well I do believe! I'm tempted to show more of the decorations etc, but I'm going to wait. I don't want to ruin the effect for any of our guests who may happen to read this here blog...

A new project - Day 1.
I hope everyone had a good weekend! As I mentioned in my last post it was my birthday yesterday which was a great day of flopping about in the sun and eating lots. Good stuff.
I've just turned 29 - Oh my, just a few years ago I thought 29 sounded ancient! - and with it being the last year of my 20's I thought about starting a new project. There are some exciting things happening for me this year, which begins with my forthcoming wedding this weekend (THIS WEEKEND! Oh!), so I have decided that I will blog one photo from everyday of the coming year. I know it's not original at all, but I just thought it might be interesting!
Here's the first, from yesterday's birthday picnic on the cliffs at Kiberick Cove:
So yeah! I will blog a picture from everyday, but I might not blog everyday if I'm away from the t'internet for any reason, there will be spells of no pictures and then, say, a whole weekend's at once perhaps. Let's see what happens...

Happy weekend...15% off!
Well, in one week tomorrow I will be getting wed...I can hardly believe it has come around so fast!
This weekend I should think will mostly be spent trying to enjoy some of this wonderful sun we are currently soaking in, printing some fun stuff, painting wedding signs and on Sunday, celebrating my last birthday (and weekend!) as a Miss.
I just wanted to give a little heads up that while I will still be shipping goodies out as fast as I can, I won't be making any new stock for a little while. Some items are running a little on the low side so if you want something, nab it! Also, to celebrate my last week of non-marriedness (word for that?) I am offering 15% off in the shop until the end of the month how about that?
Just enter the code WEDHURRAH at checkout to redeem the offer...
Anyways, I hope everyone has a good weekend. Here is a picture of my family's sweet puss cat Lou-Lou enjoying some early evening sun:

Winners!
On Saturday I picked my giveaway winners via the Random Number Generator and they were: 10 - Millie D and 16 - Minky Magic...all the M's! Well done you two! I have emailed both of the winners and their vests will be on their way asap...
The rest of the triangle vests will be in the shop shortly (I originally said at the weekend, but well, things got busy and I didn't have time. They will be up soon though.)
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I have been painting a lot, competing Mr Lauder (win!) and sorting wedding things. Here's one of the paintings I finished, which is available as a print HERE!
'The Stillness of Horses' Gouache on Wood.
Happy Monday to you all!

Black Beauty
As well as drawing the act of hiding a lot, I have also been drawing lots of horses of late which is strange for me, as even though horses are my favorite of all the beasts I never usually put them into my work! I have been enjoying it very much...

Print print print giveaway GIVEAWAY!
Would you look at this: I wrote a little screen printing tutorial for The Guardian's website!
It tells you what you will need to get started and gives you a basic how-to for printing a simple design. If you want to have a go, you can follow my instructions HERE!
I made these triangle print vests with the same method in the tutorial. Do you want one? Well, I am going to give away TWO to two lucky commenters on this here post at the end of this week...I have them in medium and large sizes, but to be honest I think they would fit a small too as they are a rib jersey and VERRRY stretchy and clingy.
To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me which colour you would like to win...easy peasy! The vests I have left over will be in the shop at the weekend...You have until midday GMT on Saturday to enter, and I will use the trusty random number generator to pick the winners and will announce them on Saturday afternoon. Good luck!
Comments are now closed and I will announce the winners shortly!

Three. and. a. half. weeks...
Yep, in three and a half weeks time I shall be a married woman...oh my! It doesn't seem like that long ago that I first mentioned it here and I keep thinking back to what I was doing three and a half weeks ago and that seems like it was yesterday.
I have a feeling that the 29th is going to come and go in the blink of an eye, and am trying to enjoy this whole getting ready for a wedding thing...even the more stressful aspects, though of which there doesn't seem to have been many. Yet!
Anyway, I always thought that invites are the first thing a guest will see about a wedding and so kind of set the tone. I really wanted to hand make ours and screen printed them onto recycled card. They went out wth a little A6 inkjet printed RSVP card with the cutest powder pink A6 return envelope. The info was printed on pink recycled paper and the whole lot packaged in a merry looking Kingfisher blue envelope...
They aren't the most extravagant invites I have seen in my wedding research, but the are simple and pretty and give a good idea of the relaxed festivities to come...(in THREE AND A HALF WEEKS! Goodness!)
