Apologies for the not amazing photos (I forgot to take my camera to the studio today and only had my ancient phone to hand) but here is a peek. I am thinking of making some prints of them, what do you think?

These are amazing Lee .... Aweeee you are so super talented xxxx
they are great, love the little boat and mr bunny... prints with the wood grain effect would be a bit special.
Thanks, I'm loving doing them and am really pleased with how they are going :)
Oooh! I love your work! It's adorable and so highly detailled. I've seen so much amazing gouache work lately it's making me want to give it a try. Do you have to prime the wood first or do you just start painting?
fantastic paintings
i love you stlye
Hi Octopus Parlour, thanks for your lovely comments :)
The wood is discarded pieces from a furniture store and already has a laquer on it. I give it a sand to take back the surface a little and then it's good to go. I finish with a satin varnish...Hope that helps and have fun with your Gouache!
thanks for the info; have a great week!
